Firestopping Services
The Firestop Industry has adopted the Factory Mutual #4991 Standard as the standard for approval of Specialty Firestop Contractors. Requirements for approval include a comprehensive in-house and job-site Facilities and Procedures Audit Inspection of the contractor’s quality control program. Firesafe was one of the first companies in the nation to attain this qualification. Click here to view the FM Certificate. Firestopping is a Life Safety issue we take seriously. As an independent contractor, we are able to select the manufacturer’s systems that ARE REQUIRED TO MEET LIFE SAFETY CODE. Firesafe’s services include through penetration and fire-resistive joint firestop system installation for commercial, industrial, institutional and multi-family housing projects.
